LYDIA NOBLES x DESTINEE ROSS-SUTTON x ABORTION STORIES
Hosted by JOYELLE NICOLE JOHNSON
Closing Event: November 12th, 2022 from 6 - 9 pm
A night of emotion, strength, and unity: on November 12th from 6-9 PM, artist Lydia Nobles and Ross-Sutton Gallery will host a collaborative event with Abortion Stories. Located at the Ross-Sutton Gallery space in Manhattan, guests will share their abortion stories with a live audience, reaffirming that access to reproductive healthcare across the country is an essential human right. Abstract sculptures by artist Lydia Nobles inspired by abortion stories, some of which are captured in video on display in the gallery, reflect the uniqueness of every person’s experience with reproductive access. Stand-up comedian, actress, and abortion rights activist Joyelle Nicole Johnson will facilitate the event, adding humor and optimism to the night.

“A Friendly Exchange”
April 10- May 2
Opening reception April 10th from 12 - 7 pm
(no reservation required)
Curated by Destinee Ross-Sutton, this new show 'A Friendly Exchange' features a conversation between Lagos-based artists Adeboyega Adesina and Johnson Eziefula, kindred spirits. They are fully committed to interpreting what is happening in Lagos now. The full expression, confidence, beauty, and luxuriating of life are the driving forces here. In no way a contrast to what is happening politically. These works beautifully capture the bravery and confidence of today's youth.
